I just had this urge to do some more paper-cut this semester so I had no set brief and just started cutting! I found it really challenging and it’s the first time I have experimented with abstract forms. This venn diagram is to represent a patient with broca’s aphasia. Each circle in the diagram represents a part of that person. We were given a letter from Brewers Dictionary of Phrase and Fable and had to choose one word. Mine was Ibis. I found out that ibis nest with other birds like herons and spoonbills and i found it fascinating that such odd looking birds all cohabitate.</p> <p>The story is about a mother ibis which kicks one of its eggs out of its own and into the wrong nest. The ibis grows up with different siblings, and goes on a search to find its real ones.
